For years, Heavenly Wonders Safaris has been guiding travelers through the breathtaking landscapes and wildlife of Tanzania. But the wonders of Africa are not limited to its surface. Deep within the ancient volcanic soil lies a treasure even more rare: magnificent gemstones found nowhere else on earth.

Heavenly Wonders Gemstones was born from a desire to share these hidden treasures with our guests and the world. By establishing our gemstone boutique and atelier right here in Arusha, we offer an authentic, trustworthy extension of the hospitality and excellence you expect from our safaris.

Our mission is to celebrate Africa’s geological heritage by delivering ethically sourced, perfectly cut, and internationally certified gemstones straight from the source.

Our Sourcing

Direct from the Tanzanian Mines

Tanzanite is a geological miracle, found only in a tiny 14-square-kilometer area at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro in the Merelani Hills. Because we are based in Arusha—just a stone’s throw away from the mines—we source our stones directly from the miners.

This "mine-to-market" approach means there are no middlemen. We can guarantee the ethical origins of every stone, ensuring that our operations support the local mining communities fairly and safely. You receive a gemstone with an untainted legacy and fair pricing.

The Process

Master Craftsmanship & Certification

A gemstone’s true brilliance is unlocked by the hands that cut it. Our master lapidaries (gem cutters) possess decades of experience, meticulously analyzing each rough stone to maximize its color, clarity, and carat weight.

We employ strict, international grading standards. Once cut and polished, our stones are set in premium gold or silver by our artisan jewelers, or sold loose for custom creations.

Certified Authentic: Every piece comes with internationally recognized grading reports (GIA, IGI, or TGLS), guaranteeing authenticity and value.
